Colby Burr, DVM

Dr. Burr received his degree from Colorado State University in 2002. Prior to opening Ammon Veterinary Hospital in May of 2007, he practiced at a mixed animal clinic in Montrose, Colorado.

Leona Kelly

Our practice manager, Leona, is an Idaho Certified Veterinary Technician who received a Master of Science degree in animal physiology from the University of Wyoming in May 2009 and a Bachelor of Science degree in animal and veterinary sciences from the University of Wyoming in May 2006. She has been part of the Ammon Veterinary team since December 2009.

Rachel Klosak

Rachel attended Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa where she received her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology in 2008. She is is a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Iowa and is working towards licensing in Idaho. She and her husband have recently moved to Idaho with her 2 dogs, cat, and 2 rats. She has worked at several small animal clinics prior to working at Ammon Veterinary Hospital, at which she has been since April 2010.

Ashley Kelley

Ashley has been a part of the Ammon Veterinary team since September 2010. Prior to joining the team she was a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture. Before beginning her college education she gained experience working with animals at a local veterinary hospital. Ashley loves working with animals and meeting new people.

Amber Covert

Amber has been a professional pet stylist for the majority of the last 12
years.  After her first year of grooming, she chose to attend a professional dog
grooming school in Orem, Utah, for more experience.  She has previously worked
at a local private salon and managed a corporate salon for several years prior
to joining the staff at the Ammon Veterinary Hospital in September of 2009.

Natalie Burr

Natalie is Dr. Burr's wife and is either helping at the vet hospital or chasing down their 3 daughters. If you're lucky, you'll see one or more of the girls at the vet hospital with their mom!
