Brianna joined our team in September of 2013. She completed 2.5 years at Utah State University and BYU-I in Animal Science and worked at a veterinary clinic in Rexburg for 4 years and Logan, UT for 1 year, before coming to Ammon Vet. She is from Rigby, ID and has lived in this area her whole life, because, as she says, "I really do love this area." Her husband also grew up in this area, so they are surrounded by family.
Brianna grew up with pets and has loved them as long as she can remember. Her dad hunted with their family dogs and still participates in dog trials and hunt tests, so her family has always had at least 1 dog. Her grandmother had a love for more exotic pets that included snakes, turtles, and birds. Being surrounded by animals, Brianna knew from a young age that she wanted a career in the animal/veterinary field.
Brianna enjoys crafting, snowboarding, boating and camping with her family. She also enjoys spending time at all the sports and activities her family is involved in. According to Brianna, her favorite thing about working with animals is, "puppy and kitten appointments because we get to cuddle and play with them, without having to take them home and potty train them!" She also loves getting to have a hand in helping sick animals get better and being able to help them recover, so they can go back home to their families. Her own pets include a Boxer named, "Mac," a cat named, "Missy", and 2 ducks named, "Bonnie and Clyde."
10 Years in Ammon
Ammon Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in 2007. In the 10 years that we've been here, we've met some amazing dogs and cats, as well as their owners. To help us commemorate the time that we've been here, we are collecting pictures of our clients and patients. You can help! Send us pictures of your pets from anytime in the last 10 years and we'll put them together in a special memorial piece (keep an eye out for that at a later date!) We'll accept your pictures anytime, but if you submit them before August 18, 2017, you'll be earn a chance to win tickets to the Idaho Falls Chukars "Bark in the Ballpark," on August 30, 2017. You can submit your pictures at https://www.facebook.com/ammonvet/ or bring them to us in person. Thank you for putting your trust in us these 10 years!
