Dora came into our family 10 years ago. She was part of a 5 puppy litter by our first Pug, Missy. We kept Dora for one of our sons, but he changed his mind and we ended up keeping her. She got her name from the children's show Dora the Explorer. When she was born she cried a lot for attention and we called her "cry baby," but one day she disappeared and we couldn't find her in the house. She had gone out the dog door and when we looked outside we could hear her cry but was nowhere in sight. We finally found her in an old wood burning stove where she had fallen in through the top and was caught inside. Since then she has been our Dora, always exploring everywhere we go. She is our greeter to everyone who enters our home, meeting them at the door to let them know they are welcome. Dora likes to play with the grandchildren that come to our home and they make a big fuss over her. She really has a lot of love to give and even though she has had some health issues she is still our sweet little pug.
